Written by Mark Waid with art by Barry Kitson and James Pascoe, Empire is an American comic book series originally published by Image imprint Gorilla Comics, Empire was acquired by DC Comics. The two Gorilla issues were reprinted in Empire #0, and were followed by a six-issue limited series. The book carries a Suggested for Mature Readers warning. The series has also been collected in a 208-page trade paperback.
